PSS-3000 optical sheet material


Distribution agreement targets market opportunity for electronic displays

THAME, U.K., 14th September, 2012 – Optical Filters, world leaders in the design and manufacture of display enhancement products for flat panel displays, are pleased to announce their recent appointment by PPG Industries (NYSE: PPG), the world’s leading coatings and specialty products company, as sole European distributor for PSS-3000 optical sheet material.


The partnership gives Optical Filters another leading edge in the electronic display enhancement sector and enables its customers to benefit from the superior performance of PSS-3000 sheet material in optical quality, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance when compared to existing acrylic and polycarbonate products.

In addition to selling full sheets for processing by the customer, Optical Filters provides a cut-to-order conversion service for those customers who wish to take advantage of the company’s extensive manufacturing capability and expertise in handling optical materials. Further services include optical lamination in clean room assembly conditions.
